MAKE A RESERVATION

If you have difficulty making a reservation through the link above, please email 3dayhotels@altour.com. All other 3-Day questions should be directed to your 3-Day coach.

3-Day walkers and crew: You must complete online check-in in your Participant Center in order to secure your Friday and Saturday night hotel room and select your roommate(s) for those nights. 20-mile walkers and people who are not registered participants may not stay in the 3-Day room block at the host hotel on Friday and Saturday night.

20-mile walkers: If you wish to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday night, you must contact the Marriott Marquis Chicago directly.

A charge for $75/day will be placed on your card (if it is a debit card, the $75/day will be removed from your account). If you do not charge incidentals to your room, the $75/day charge will be refunded 7-10 days after you check out.

7:00 a.m.
Marriott Marquis Chicago
2121 South Prairie Ave.

3-Day walkers who do not have an official event credential will need to come to the late check-in help desk on Friday morning before the Opening Ceremony, where you will receive a temporary credential. If you have not completed online check-in, you must complete it on your mobile device during the day, either before or as soon as you come back to camp in the afternoon/evening. Once back at camp, come to the 3-Day Command Center and we will confirm that you have completed online check-in and give you your official event credential.

20-Mile Walkers

On Saturday night at the 3-Day, we hold a special ceremony to honor and celebrate the people who we are walking for. We invite you to attend this moving, inspiring ceremony—you won’t want to miss it. It’s a wonderful way to start your 3-Day journey and will give you a chance to be with the rest of the 3-Day community.

The Honor Ceremony starts when the last walker arrives at camp, which is typically sometime between 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. If you’d like to attend this ceremony, please come to the Marriott Marquis Chicago between 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, and check in at the 20-mile walker table in the Great Lakes Ballroom. Dinner is served between 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Then plan to arrive at the hotel on Sunday morning, September 10. If you didn’t check in on Saturday, please check in at the 20-mile walker table inside the Great Lakes Ballroom between 6:45 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. Breakfast is available from 5:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. and the route opens at 7:45 a.m. All walkers must be on the route by 8:15 a.m.
