Positions are available on a first come, first served basis, so please sign up immediately. The number of volunteers needed is indicated - for example, "5/10 Needed" means that 5 people are still needed on a 10-person team (5 people are already signed up). Once an opportunity has been filled, it will be removed from the website.
On-Event Volunteer Opportunities will be posted approximately 45 days prior to each Susan G. Komen 3-Day®. You can subscribe to the Volunteer Bulletin to remain informed of opportunities as they are announced.
Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions
Volunteer opportunities are generally a single-day commitment. In order to volunteer, you must be 18 years or older (some opportunities are open to those 10-17 years old with an adult). There is no fee or fundraising requirement to volunteer.
Outreach: Volunteer at a Komen 3-Day outreach event and share your enthusiasm with others. You’ll help spread the word about the 3-Day® to prospective new walkers and crew members.
Meeting Assistant: Share your past experience as a walker, crew member or volunteer to answer questions at a Get Started Meeting and motivate interested individuals to register for the 3-Day. If you are passionate about eliminating breast cancer, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Training Walk Leader: Plan and lead training walks in your community (for registered walkers/crew only). If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, edit the interests in your online profile to check “I am interested in becoming a training walk leader.”
On-Event Volunteer Opportunities: From assisting with walker check-in to staffing the Shop3Day.com® general store to preparing for the arrival of thousands of walkers at the Closing Ceremony, we have many opportunities for volunteers during the 3-Day. On-event volunteer opportunities will be posted approximately 45 days prior to the 3-Day. Please subscribe to the Volunteer Bulletin to remain informed of opportunities as they are announced.

You’ll be one of the first to learn about new volunteer opportunities in your area.
