If you’re able to commit to the full four days of the event and are 18 years or older, you should register to be a crew member. Volunteer opportunities are generally a single-day commitment (helping at expos, Get Started Meetings, on-event ceremonies, etc.). In order to be a volunteer you must be 18 years or older (or 10-17 years old with an adult).
Volunteer Information Crew Information
Crew Crew members are the first to greet the dawn and the last to tuck everyone in at night. Expect to work hard and toil long, often in the dark, heat, or cold. As difficult as it sounds, it’s also that rewarding in smiles, kindness and gratitude. If you are interested in becoming a Breast Cancer 3-Day crew member, follow this link to register as an event participant.
Registered crew members: please log in to your Participant Center for more information about the Crew.
Crew Team Descriptions
The Power of Crew Fundraising Each crew member is required to pay a $90 registration fee. Crew members are not required to fundraise. However, they are encouraged to do so, and receive the same support and fundraising advice as our walkers. In 2007, crew members raised more than $1 million for the Breast Cancer 3-Day. What an impact on the fight to end breast cancer!
Crew Day Crew is a four-day commitment. All crew members are required to attend Crew Day on the Thursday before the event. Mark your calendar now and plan to spend the day engaged in hands-on training and final preparation for your Breast Cancer 3-Day.
Crew Partnerships Our goal is to get involved with the local community as much as possible. We have opportunities available for local Medical, Sports Medicine, and Ambulance partnerships. Please call 800.996.3DAY and ask for your local Crew & Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
“On the 3-Day, we come in contact with some of the greatest people on earth - walkers, crew members, event coordinators, volunteers - all people willing to give their time, energy (and money) to find a cure for breast cancer.” -Jackie and Jim, crew members

If you would like to be notified when new volunteer opportunities become available, please subscribe to the Volunteer Bulletin. It’s a newsletter that delivers important volunteer information and will keep you aware of new opportunities as they are announced. Subscribing to the Volunteer Bulletin places you on our email distribution list to receive the bulletin. It does not sign you up for a particular volunteer opportunity. Once volunteer opportunities are listed in the bulletin, you will need to sign up for a particular position.

“I expected it to be powerful, but describing it just isn't the same as being there and seeing it for yourself. I expected sentiment, some sadness and a lot of feeling of victory and it turned out to be so much more: happiness, sadness, memories, a feeling of working together, feeling a part of everyone else and a feeling of strength that a cure is possible.” -David, 3-Day donor and volunteer |
