Volunteer Opportunity Descriptions

Outreach: Volunteer at a Komen 3-Day for the Cure outreach event and share your enthusiasm with others. You’ll help spread the word about the 3-Day for the Cure to prospective new walkers and crew members.

Meeting Assistant: Share your past experience as a walker, crew member or volunteer to answer questions at a Get Started Meeting and motivate interested individuals to register for the 3-Day for the Cure. If you are passionate about eliminating breast cancer, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Preview Expos:  Volunteer at the 3-Day for the Cure Preview Expo. A Preview Expo is a fun gathering of 3-Day for the Cure walkers, crew members, volunteers and others interested in joining the fight to end breast cancer. All experience levels are needed.

On-Event Volunteer Opportunities: From assisting with walker check-in to staffing the 3DayGear.com general store to preparing for the arrival of thousands of walkers at the Closing Ceremony, we have many opportunities for volunteers during the 3-Day for the Cure. On-event volunteer opportunities will be posted approximately 45 days prior to the 3-Day. Please subscribe to the Volunteer Bulletin to remain informed of opportunities as they are announced.

Other Volunteer Opportunities: If there is not a current volunteer opportunity that matches your interest or skills, but you’d like to be notified via e-mail as new volunteer opportunities are announced, please subscribe to the Volunteer Bulletin.  You’ll be one of the first to learn about new volunteer opportunities in your area.  Subscribers to the Volunteer Bulletin will also be notified when on-event volunteer opportunities are posted for their local 3-Day for the Cure.
