Komen Mission Webinar: Triple Negative Breast Cancer

For the first time ever, Susan G. Komen® will be hosting a mission webinar for our 3-Day community. Our goal is to provide additional insights into Komen mission priorities and how your dollars are being put to work.

This first webinar will focus on triple negative breast cancer and one of the many research grants dedicated to determining why breast cancer spreads from the breast and how we can stop it.

This webinar will be hosted by:

  • Chrissy Mathews, 3-Day Program Manager
  • Victoria Wolodzko, Vice President, Research and Community Health Program Operations
  • Justin Balko, PharmD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cancer Biology & Leader of Molecular Oncology, Center for Targeted Therapeutics at Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center; Dr. Balko will briefly discuss his Komen funded research which is focused on helping Triple Negative Breast Cancer patients using immunotherapies.

The webinar will be 30 minutes long and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Invite your friends, family and donors to participate and learn more about how the money you raise helps support Komen’s research.
